Gainbridge Insurance Agency, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Gainbridge®”, “we”, “us” or “our”), is a digital insurance agency platform and wholly owned subsidiary of Group 1001 Insurance Holdings, LLC (“Group1001”). Group1001™ is an insurance holding company in the United States. This online Privacy Policy explains how we and our business partners and affiliates may work with, collect, use, share and protect information in relation to this website and any associated mobile applications or online services, and any content or information contained therein (this "Site"), and your choices about the collection and use of your information. Unless both you and Gainbridge® agree, no arbitrator or judge may consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

If any of these Terms & Conditions is held invalid or unenforceable, that part will be deemed modified as necessary to make it effective, and the remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions will remain in effect.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 (or another age, as may be provided for in our companion jurisdiction-specific privacy policies), or knowingly allow such persons to register for this Site. This Site and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Do Not Track

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”) gives California residents certain privacy rights with respect to some of the personal information Gainbridge Insurance Agency, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect about you and supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy. We have adopted this California Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) in accordance with the notice requirements under the CCPA, and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice does not apply to information we collect pursuant to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

Definitions Specific to this Policy
The CCPA includes definitions for terms specific to this Privacy Notice that do not apply to our primary Privacy Policy, including the following terms:

"Sensitive Personal Information" means Personal Information that reveals a consumer’s Social Security number, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number; account log-in, financial account number, debit card number, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; precise geolocation; racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or union membership; contents of email or text messages; and genetic data. Sensitive Personal Information also includes Processing of biometric information for the purpose of uniquely identifying a consumer and Personal Information collected and analyzed concerning a consumer’s health, sex life, or sexual orientation.

"Service Provider" means a sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company, corporation, association, or other legal entity that is organized or operated for the profit or financial benefit of its shareholders or other owners, that processes information on behalf of a business and to which the business discloses a consumer’s Personal Information for a business purpose pursuant to a written contract.

"Third Party" means a person or entity who is not any of the following:

  • The business with whom the consumer intentionally interacts and that collects personal information from the consumer as part of the consumer’s current interaction with the business under this title.
  • A Service Provider to the business.
  • A Contractor.

To the extent other terms used in this Privacy Notice are defined terms under the CCPA, they shall have the meanings afforded to them in that statute, whether or not capitalized, herein.

California Resident Data Rights Requests

Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights under the CCPA on your behalf.

Pursuant to the CCPA:

  • You must provide the authorized agent written permission to exercise your rights under the CCPA on your behalf.
  • We may deny a request to delete, request to correct, or a request to know from an authorized agent on your behalf if the authorized agent does not submit proof that he, she, or it has been authorized by you to act on your behalf if we request such proof, as permitted by the CCPA.
  • Even if you use an authorized agent to exercise your rights under the CCPA on your behalf, pursuant to the CCPA we may still require that you verify your own identity directly to us. This provision does not apply if you have provided us with a power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465.

Verification of Consumer Privacy Requests
We may ask you to provide information that will enable us to verify your identity in order to comply with your request. Right to Deletion
You have the right to request that we delete certain Personal Information that we have collected. Right to Opt-Out of the Sale and Sharing of Your Personal Information
You have the right to request that we do not sell or share your Personal Information with Third Parties and the right to opt-out of the processing of Personal Information for targeted advertising purposes. If you exercise the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information, please note that pursuant to the CCPA, we may have to subsequently inform you that you need to opt-in if the sale of your Personal Information is required to complete a transaction you have initiated. If opting-in is required, we will provide you with the necessary instructions. However, we do not collect or use Sensitive Personal Information for purposes beyond those authorized by the CCPA, and we have not used Sensitive Personal Information of California consumers in the preceding twelve months for purposes beyond those authorized by the CCPA.

Right to Non-Discrimination
You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your data rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your data rights.
